Environmental Education & Engagement Programs Start Wildfire-Safety Actions Today!King County’s new Wildfire Ready Toolkit (pdf) gives residents simple, practical steps to reduce risk, prepare an evacuation plan, and assemble an emergency kit; developed alongside local fire and emergency partners to make it useful for our region. Sign up for ALERT King County to receive timely emergency notifications. Help us Improve Safe Medication ReturnSafe Medication Return, a free household medication take back system that reduces overdoses, poisonings, and suicide attempts. Help us improve Safe Medication Return by taking this public survey. Get Funding through DNRP GrantsWaterworks Grant Program provides approximately $6 million in funding every two years to organizations carrying out a variety of water quality improvement projects; application deadline is July 20.
