January 2026
The work hours for the early morning closures of Coal Creek Parkway SE are now 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., this is a change from our previous update. See below for more information about this work.
On the early mornings of January 28 and January 30, the contractor will stop traffic in both directions on Coal Creek Parkway SE for short durations. The closures will be between the Red Cedar Trailhead entrance and north of the Forest Drive SE intersection, intermittently between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m..
These closures are required so the contractor can safely move oversized equipment in and out of the work area. Drivers should expect significant delays on Coal Creek Parkway SE during these hours. We encourage drivers to use alternate routes during the closures.
What to expect:
-
Traffic impacts: Expect traffic delays. City of Bellevue Police will be present to direct traffic. Drivers and cyclists will wait outside the road closure area until directed through.
-
Work hours: 3 a.m. to 5 a.m., on Wednesday, January 28 and Friday, January 30.
-
Construction noise typical to a work site
Note: Closure areas shown on the map are approximate.
