Your Weekly Update on What's Happening at the King County Council

merry christmas

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As the year comes to a close, I want to wish you and your loved ones a joyful and restful holiday season.

Christmas this year comes at a difficult time for many, with severe flooding that has impacted many families and communities across our region. During these difficult moments, I have continued to be inspired by the resilience of our region. Whether it's neighbors helping neighbors, first responders and public works crews working tirelessly, or volunteers stepping up where help is needed most, I am inspired to celebrate the holidays with such a giving community.

Even amidst these challenges, we continue to make meaningful progress together. In just the last several months, we have protected the Cedar River, reopened the White River Bridge in an expeditious manner, and passed grant accountability legislation to ensure transparency and responsible use of public funds.

It is the honor of my lifetime to represent our community on the King County Council. Thank you for the trust you place in me. It is a responsibility I do not take lightly.

From my family to you and yours, wishing you a safe and peaceful holiday season.

All my best,

Dunn-signature
