New year, new system! In our continuing efforts to simplify and improve the efficiency of our processes, the Department of Community & Human Services (DCHS) is expanding the use of Agiloft, our contract and invoice management software, to include solicitations, also known as funding opportunities.
This means that in 2026, DCHS will stop using ZoomGrants and start using Agiloft to manage solicitations. Solicitations already open in ZoomGrants will stay in ZoomGrants. Any new solicitation launched in 2026 and beyond will be managed in Agiloft.
GET READY: To make your future application process as easy as possible, make sure your organization has the necessary accounts to access information and apply for DCHS funding opportunities. To be ready, your organization must have at least one staff member with an Agiloft account. Details about creating and managing accounts in Agiloft can be found on the DCHS Agiloft Website.
If your organization already has at least one staff member with an Agiloft account, we urge you to consider adding accounts for staff members typically responsible for application writing, so the right people have access at the right time.
FOR NEW USERS: If your organization has never interacted with Agiloft and anticipates being interested in applying for future DCHS funding opportunities, we urge you to set up at least one account, so you are ready to go when a solicitation of interest is announced. This will require your organization to submit a registration form signed by your Executive Director, along with your organization’s W-9 form. Please do this as soon as possible. It can take a week or more to verify the information and create an account and we don’t want this process to hinder your organization’s ability to apply for critical funding.
TRAINING AVAILABLE: With each funding opportunity, DCHS will provide support to potential applicants on how to use our new system, including:
-
An overview of using Agiloft to apply for funding at each information session
-
Step-by-step guides and recorded training videos will be available on the DCHS Agiloft Website in the new year
-
Multiple opportunities to virtually drop in and get technical support from our Agiloft experts—see the DCHS Agiloft Website in the new year
-
Formal technical assistance and capacity building from local organizations for applicants applying to Best Starts for Kids (BSK) and/or Veteran, Seniors, Human Services Levy (VSHSL) funded solicitations
As always, we are here to support your use of Agiloft to partner with DCHS. Please direct your questions and requests to DCHSAgiloft@kingcounty.gov.
