King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) will close one lane of traffic to repair a portion of Discovery Park Boulevard for three weeks. Plan ahead for temporary travel delays.

WHAT: Short-term repair of dip in roadway to improve safety and ensure access to West Point Treatment Plant and South Beach area.
- One travel lane will be closed, but vehicle through-traffic will be maintained.
- Sidewalks and trails will remain open.

WHEN:
- Weekdays from Monday, Jan. 5, through Friday, Jan. 23, 2026
- Work hours: 8 am to 2 pm daily

WHERE: Discovery Park Boulevard along north side of Capehart Forest (see Figure 1).
Expect construction crews and traffic control devices, including cones and signs, around the work area. There may be periods of increased noise from equipment, such as jack hammers and construction vehicles.
