Section of Enatai Beach Park to reopen to the public by early December
Crews completing restoration activities this week
|
|
By early December, crews will complete restoration of the work area under the bridge at Enatai Beach Park and reopen that area to the public. Two smaller areas in the southern part of the park will remain closed until the remaining in‑water pipe work is completed next year. |

Crews have also continued work on the new odor control structure at Enatai Beach Park. Recently, they tested the unit to ensure it operates correctly. They paved a new access roadway so that maintenance vehicles can reach the odor control and sewer diversion structures, and completed plantings and irrigation work.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during this critical sewer upgrade project. Crews are working hard to finish restoration so this space can be returned to the community.
Remaining work in the East Channel
Crews will return to the East Channel next year for in-water pipe work during the next permitted in-water work window. They will reline existing sewer pipes along the Bellevue shoreline and in Enatai Beach Park. This work is currently estimated for the fall of 2026. We will provide more information on what to expect when this work has been scheduled.
