King County’s contractors finished repairing 140 feet of sewer pipe near the Heathfield Pump Station. Next, King County is restoring the hillside and temporarily restoring the road on SE 35th Place. Restoration activities include:
- Refilling the area where the pipe was installed
- Landscape restoration on the hillside next to SE 35th Place
- Temporary pavement restoration of the eastbound travel lane on SE 35th Place
- Removing equipment from the staging area at Vasa Park
King County will complete final paving of the eastbound lane on SE 35th Place in spring 2026. Crews need sustained dry weather to complete this work. We will share updates as it gets closer.
