Paving impact and temporary closures
Once grinding is complete, crews will begin paving the road as early as August 8. Paving is expected to be completed in one day and requires a few hours to cure. Once crews begin paving, they cannot stop or allow cars to drive on the newly paved roadway.
During this work, the intersection will remain open, and vehicle and residential access will be maintained.
After paving is finished, crews will perform one day of utility adjustment work. This involves raising existing utility access points to align the new road surface.
If you have access concerns, please contact the Community Services team at 425-305-3578 or NMEsewer@kingcounty.gov.
