As early as July 21, crews will be working on 96th Avenue Southeast just south of Southeast 35th Street to relocate a gas line. This work is expected to take place over approximately three days. The intersection will remain open. Vehicle and residential access will be maintained.
During this work, crews will use a saw cutter and an excavator to access underground utilities by the edge of the road. Then, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) crews will be on site to relocate the gas line.
Neighbors near the area can expect an increase in noise and vibration while crews excavate and backfill the roadway.
