Be part of a movement for climate and workforce equity on Wednesday, July 17th, at the Northwest African American History Museum. For more information and to register!

Share your input in how King County manages waste

Connect with the Solid Waste Division through in-person community meetings in June and July (virtual meeting option is also available). These meetings are an opportunity to explore proposed waste management options, ask questions, and share your input. Check out more information.

Get ready for Salmon SEEson!

The 2025 Salmon SEEson program is coming and it’s the best way to see salmon in local streams and rivers when they return this summer and fall. Whether you are planning your own visit or an organization that would like to help promote this local phenomenon, check out the Salmon SEEson website. You’ll find a map and details for several self-guided viewing locations as well as in-person interpretive viewing opportunities.

Get Funding through DNRP Grants

Apply for funds to help our communities - reduce water pollution, improve parks, conserve land, prevent waste, reduce flood risk and improve health. Check out DNRP grants!

Volunteer at a Local Park

King County Parks leads an average of 10,000 volunteers a year performing restoration, park improvement and building and maintaining trails. Each program weaves environmental education into the event. Join Us!
