June 2025
Big improvements are ahead. See how we’re building for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Sunnier days and dry months provide the perfect opportunity to maintain our facilities and advance key projects across our regional wastewater system. This ensures smooth and efficient operations into the future.
Maintenance and upgrades at South Treatment Plant range from smaller projects to large overhauls. An example of these major projects are two exciting upgrades coming to the Plant. The Influent Pump Building Seismic Upgrade and the Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Tank Rehab Project are set to begin construction in 2026 and 2028. These projects will help us modernize our infrastructure and keep our commitments to protect public health and the environment.
Check out our latest newsletter to learn more about these improvements and discover ways you can help protect our wastewater system!
