Reminder that crews will drill holes in Discovery Park Boulevard near West Point Treatment Plant to better understand current road conditions. Work will start on Tuesday, May 27 from 8 a.m. to as late as 6 p.m.
A dip in Discovery Park Boulevard near West Point Treatment Plant has been quickly deteriorating over the last few years. This work will inform the repair construction that will take place later this summer.
What to Expect
To allow the work to happen safely, one lane of Discovery Park Blvd will be closed. The closed lane will switch between westbound and eastbound throughout the day. Flaggers will direct traffic safely around the work area.
- Expect delays due to lane restrictions.
- Construction equipment will cause some noise.
- Drivers and cyclists should use extra caution.
Pedestrian trails will not be affected by the work.
