Youth and Amateur Sports Grants (YASG) is now accepting applications from April 7 to May 5 at 9 a.m. There are over $3 million in available funding. Awards up to $100,000 for programs proposals and up to $250,000 for construction proposals.
Eligible applicants must be from a:
- City of Town
- Nonprofit or fiscally-sponsored organization
- Tribal organization
- Public School District
- Park District
- Other public agency

 The first half of 2025 property tax payments are due April 30 this year for those who pay property taxes themselves instead of through a mortgage company. Property owners in King County can view their 2025 property tax details online. If you have questions, contact King County Treasury Operations at 206-263-2890 (available Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 4:30PM) or via email.
Information on tax exemption and deferral programs for seniors, people with disabilities, or those with other qualifying conditions is available from the King County Assessor's Office at TaxRelief.kingcounty.gov, by emailing exemptions.assessments@kingcounty.gov, or calling 206‑296‑3920.

Eligible applicants include cities and towns, nonprofit organizations, tribal organizations, fiscally-sponsored organizations, public school districts, park districts, and other public agencies.

FCD Flood Reduction Grants
The 2025 Steve Bleifuhs Flood Reduction Grants are for small and medium-sized local flood reduction projects that address existing or potential flooding. Eligible applicants include homeowner associations, schools, nonprofits, tribes, cities and towns, and King County agencies.
Join an informational session on April 16 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Spanish translation will be available. Applications are due May 23.

RFP: Supporting Student Veterans and Their Families
Supporting Student Veterans and Their Families RFP seeks to allocate VSHSL funds to provide financial assistance and wraparound supports for King County veterans and veteran family members enrolled in post-secondary programs, including, but not limited to, colleges, universities, and trade schools. This will be a pilot program to explore a new avenue to reach veterans and support their educational aspirations.
