North Mercer Pump Station fire alarm testing as early as February 10
Expect intermittent noise and flashing lights coming from the pump station
Earlier this month, crews installed a new fire alarm system in the North Mercer Pump Station building. As early as Monday, February 10, crews will begin setting up and testing the new fire alarm system. Crews will program the system, correct any issues that may be identified, and run the system through testing.
This work is planned to occur over the span of a few days between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. when the fire monitoring system crews are on site. Neighbors near the pump station can expect periodic noise and lights from the pump station building while testing is in progress.
