On December 10, 2024, the King County Council adopted the 2024 King County Comprehensive Plan (Proposed Ordinance 2023-0440) and updates to the Countywide Planning Policies (2023-0438). At the meeting, the Council voted on individual amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and then voted to approve the legislation, as amended. Adoption of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan completes the Council's year-long process of deliberation and public input on the proposal.
All of the amendments that were considered by the Council, as well as their pass/fail status, can be found on the Council's Comprehensive Plan website.
