About The Role:
This Career Service position plays a vital role in ensuring the secure and reliable operation of WTD's Industrial Control System (ICS) network and the business systems that operations and maintenance relies on. The primary mission of this position is to maintain the software, applications, and network infrastructure that the ICS relies on. This includes maintaining and troubleshooting workstations, installing security patches, organizing and managing server rooms, troubleshooting and resolving network issues, and other duties as assigned.

About The Team:

King County's Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) relies on the Systems Engineering team to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of its industrial control system (ICS). This is achieved by maintaining a robust network infrastructure consisting of a complex web of workstations, servers, routers, switches, databases, and other critical hardware and software. Through these efforts, the systems engineering team directly contributes to WTD's mission of protecting public health and the environment.  By joining WTD's Operations Team as a Systems Engineer II, you will play a dynamic role in supporting our regional OT-based Industrial Control System (ICS) across multiple facilities, including three Wastewater Treatment plants.
