This fall and winter, the King County Water Taxi will continue to be a transportation option for riders going to and from West Seattle and Vashon. These schedules will be updated online on Friday, October 11th. The new sailing schedule begins Saturday, October 12th.
West Seattle
This Friday, October 11th will be the last day for West Seattle late night sailings after 7 p.m.
On Sunday, October 12th, sailings from Seattle’s Pier 50 will continue from downtown to Seacrest Dock in West Seattle. The West Seattle's seven-day-a-week service will run from approximately 6 a.m. weekdays (8:30 a.m. weekends) to 7 p.m. Weekday sailings will leave the dock every 35 minutes during peak commute hours and every hour during the mid-day, and on weekends.
During commute hours, riders can take the free Metro shuttles to and from the Water Taxi landing at Seacrest Park. Route 773 serves the West Seattle junction. Route 775 serves the Admiral District and Alki.

Vashon Island
The popular midday service between downtown and Vashon will stay in place Monday through Friday for the fall and winter service. The expanded bus service on routes 118 and 119 will remain in place to support riders on the midday service.
