King County Parks manages around 175 miles of Leafline regional trails, including the Cedar River Trail, the Green to Cedar Rivers Trail, Eastrail, Foothills Trail, Soos Creek Trail, and more. Current trail operating hours are from dawn until dusk, but Parks is considering the possibility of expanding these hours and would like your feedback.

Through October 31, cast your Participatory Budgeting vote in Fairwood and East Renton
Residents of five urban unincorporated areas in King County, including Fairwood and East Renton, can vote this month to choose proposals that will receive county funding to improve their communities.
This is the county’s second round of Participatory Budgeting, a two-year, community-led process in which residents gather ideas from their neighbors, create proposals from those ideas, and hold a vote to decide which proposals to pay for with county funds.
From now through Oct. 31, anyone who lives, works, owns a business, receives services, goes to school, or worships in one of these five unincorporated areas is encouraged to cast their vote either in-person or online. Find more information on how to vote here.
VSHSL Mental Health Counseling Funding Opportunity
This RFP seeks to fund entities to provide mental health services to veterans, military servicemembers, and their respective family members, as well as seniors and their caregivers, in order to increase access to mental health care and reduce potential wait times.

Crisis Care Centers RFP
DCHS seeks Behavioral Health Agencies (BHAs) to create and operate a regional network of five Crisis Care Centers across King County. This network of Crisis Care Centers will create a new front door for people in crisis who need Behavioral Health services. The five Crisis Care Centers include:
- Four Regional Crisis Care Centers geographically distributed across King County, as follows:
- North Crisis Response Zone Crisis Care Center
- East Crisis Response Zone Crisis Care Center
- South Crisis Response Zone Crisis Care Center
- Central Crisis Response Zone Crisis Care Center
- One Youth Crisis Care Center located anywhere in King County
