King County Metro is seeking two (2) adept and ambitious Assistant Manager of Bus Operations to support the Suburban or Central District. We deliver safe, secure, efficient, and reliable transportation services to millions of residents and visitors annually. Join us in our mission to keep our community moving smoothly and safely 
 
The Assistant Manager of Bus Operations will translate strategy into execution, build capacity and ensure consistency in administering policies, procedures, and labor agreements across Transit locations. They will oversee performance measures, build employee engagement, and lead special projects, with an emphasis on strategic planning and project management. This role provides enterprise-level support and guidance to these bases:

Suburban District
  • Bellevue Base
  • East Base
  • North Base
  • South Base (temporarily) 
Central District
  • Atlantic Base
  • Central Base
  • Ryerson Base
