August 2024
Construction activities continue on West Armory Way and West Wheeler Street
Expect to see crews and construction vehicles as early as August 5
Construction is ramping up on the Interbay Sewer and Odor Control Upgrade Project.
Over the past month, crews have been preparing the site for the new odor control facility. Crews have been clearing the land and putting up construction fencing.
Starting as early as next week and continuing through the summer, neighbors and businesses will see the crews performing the following activities:
- Removing old pavement and dirt
- Locating buried utilities
- Installing storm drainpipe
- Installing a new waterline

To accommodate crews and construction vehicles there will be a full closure of the road at the end of the cul-de-sac on W. Armory Way. This closure is not expected to impact access for nearby neighbors to local businesses.
