Approximate location of work activities

Map of proposed drilling locations along East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast

We anticipate that crews will temporarily close a single lane or turn lane along East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast near your home. This map shows the approximate closure and drilling locations.

You may be wondering if this information is already available through other projects like the East Lake Sammamish Trail and projects on the roadway. Wouldn’t these projects have soil and groundwater information available, saving time, budget, and community impacts?

Project designers use existing information they can find in what is called a desktop survey. But a wastewater project might need different information at different depths than a road or trail project. Project designers will plan for more underground survey work when they find gaps in available information.
