Construction activities for Interbay sewer upgrades begin as early as July 10

King County Wastewater Treatment Division is beginning underground work for the Interbay Sewer and Odor Control project. Crews will be working on West Armory Way to locate utilities and survey the site as early as July 10. This work is expected to last up to two days, and all work will be between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Construction schedules can change due to site conditions, weather, and material availability. Please check our project website for updates.

What to expect

  • Noise, dust, and vibrations typical of an active construction project.
  • Crews locating utilities and marking them with paint on the ground.
  • A vacuum truck in the right of way until work is complete.
  • Jackhammers and saws may be used intermittently.
  • Crews using handheld surveying tools.

During construction, access will be maintained for all emergency vehicles, garbage, recycling, composting, and mail services. If services are interrupted, please call the project hotline at 425-595-3452.
