Extended Saturday work hours in parts of the project area as early as June 29 through August 

New approved work hours on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.   

As early as June 29, crews are approved to work Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in some parts of the project area (listed below). These extended hours are expected to be in place through August.

• City of Mercer Island: Between S.E. 22nd Pl and 81st Ave S.E. and between Shorewood Drive and the Mercer Island Boat Launch.

• City of Bellevue: Around Enatai Beach Park and Sweyolocken Pump Station.

Extending Saturday work hours will help crews complete work more quickly. These updated work hours were approved by the City of Mercer Island and City of Bellevue.

What to expect

• Approved work hours are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Saturday.
• Noise, dust, and vibrations typical of an active construction project.
• Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
• All work will be performed in the public right-of-way.
• Construction schedules can change based on factors such as site conditions, weather, and material availability. Please check our project website for the most up-to-date information.
