King County's Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) provides equitable opportunities for people to be healthy, happy, and connected to community. The Children, Youth and Young Adults Division (CYYAD) is one of five divisions in DCHS and provides employment and education services to youth and young adults, residing within King County. CYYAD is seeking an energetic and hardworking individual to join our team as a Management Information Systems (MIS) Program Specialist, PPM I.
This position develops, coordinates, and implements processes, procedures, and tools for the programs within CYYAD’s direct services unit. In addition, the Program Specialist reviews program applications for compliance, apply appropriate funding to support participant endeavors, manage billing for college programs, and serve as a liaison during program audits. The Program Specialist may also provide functional supervision of support and technical staff. The position requires advanced skills and technical expertise. This work is performed semi-independently as part of CYYAD’s Management Information System’s team.
This recruitment is to fill a Term-Limited Temporary (TLT) position that is anticipated to end December 31, 2025. If filled by a King County employee who has passed their initial probation, the TLT will be as a Special Duty Assignment (SDA).
