Department of Public Health’s Community Health Services Division is hiring for a Career Service Community Health Services Supervisor (CHSS) in Parent and Child Health. This position is based out of King County Public Health Centers at Columbia Public Health with supervisory oversight for First Steps and WIC services at Columbia and White Center at Greenbridge. Public Health Centers provide patient centered services to pregnant and parenting women, infants, and children that are either co-located with reproductive health services for men, women, and teens or embedded within a community health clinic. We are interested in individuals who are representative of the diverse population we serve and are dedicated to serving clients with quality and compassion. The CHSS position is responsible for the oversight and support of multi-disciplinary teams that may include: Registered Nurses, Registered Dieticians, Community Health Workers, Nutrition Assistants, Social Workers, and Administrative Support staff. This position may also supervise other disciplines such as Interpreters and may expand their supervision to other sites. The CHSS will have the overall responsibility for the daily supervision of the team and be a key member of the site leadership team(s), working with Program staff, other supervisors, and community partners. Work Schedule
The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Depending on business needs, work hours and on-site presence may be adjusted to meet Public Health Center needs. This position is exempt and not overtime eligible.

This position is full-time in office and is based at the Columbia Public Health Center, located at 4400 37th Ave S. Seattle, WA 98118.
