The Children, Youth & Young Adults Division of DCHS is seeking two (2) energetic and hardworking individuals to join our team in exciting Career Service opportunities that will be supporting our youth/young adult clients who may have various barriers to success including low-income, lack of work experience, homelessness/unstable housing, low-basic skills, legal system involvement, etc. The goal of these positions is to provide services that lead to success in education and employment such as high school completion, job retention, and/or enrollment and completion of post-secondary career, training, education.
The Learning Center Seattle (LCS) Case Manager, Social Services Professional will assess education and employment needs, provide support, engagement, and advising support to secondary and post-secondary students, including employment programming such as job readiness training, job search assistance, job placement, internship placement, employment retention and support services. This position may include outreach, recruitment, and leading information sessions.
The YouthSource Case Manager, Social Services Professional will recruit, assess, provide job readiness training, job search assistance, job placement, employment retention, college access knowledge and support services to youth/young adults. The young adults will be enrolled into comprehensive education and employment programs.
