Starting as early as Monday, April 22, crews will install accessible curb ramps along the sidewalk on North Mercer Way near 84th Avenue Southeast. Crews will direct single-lane, alternating traffic 24-hours a day for approximately three weeks.
First, crews will close and work in the westbound lane of North Mercer Way for approximately a week and a half.
Then, crews will close and work in the eastbound lane for approximately a week and a half.
During working hours, flaggers will direct pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles safely through the work area.
After working hours, the work area will be plated for safety. Traffic control signals will direct pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles through the work area. Traffic control signals may hold traffic for up to three minutes. The pedestrian path on the north side of North Mercer Way will remain open throughout construction.
Drivers and cyclists should use caution while traveling through the work area. Please follow all instructions from flaggers and traffic control signals.
