Single lane alternating traffic upcoming on Frontage Road 

Access to boat launch will be maintained 

Two days of single lane alternating traffic as early as April 12 and 13, then occasionally in the coming months.  

Crews need to connect pipes to the maintenance structures near Frontage Road. Crews will excavate to access the pipes. Then, they will connect the pipes and temporarily repave the area.

What to expect

• Approved work hours are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday. 
• Access to the Mercer Island Boat Launch for vehicles with boats will be maintained. Drivers can expect no more than a 10-minute wait while crews prepare a safe path through the work area. 
• Emergency vehicle access will be maintained. 
• Flaggers will direct traffic through the work area. 
• All work will be performed in the public right-of-way.
