Single lane traffic near Enatai Beach Park as early as April 10
Crews prepare area for electrical work on 108th Ave SE
|
|
Starting as early as Wednesday, April 10, people traveling through this area will notice traffic control along 108th Avenue Southeast between Southeast 34th Street and Southeast Lake Road. Flaggers will direct single lane alternating traffic on 108th Avenue Southeast, 106th Avenue Southeast, and SE Lake Rd to safely move vehicles around the work area.
As early as Wednesday, April 17, crews will begin installing electrical conduits on 108th Ave SE in between SE 34th St and 106th Ave SE. This requires crews to dig trenches and use potholing to get access to utility lines. Outside of working hours, steel plates will be used to cover the excavation to make the entire width of the roadway usable. Construction is expected to last about a week.
Access to sidewalks, the I-90 Trail, and Enatai Beach Park will be maintained during this work.
