Equipment offloading at East Mercer Way onramp to I-90 Westbound
March 5, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Expect flaggers directing traffic through area
Exit 8 at Mercer Island will remain open for vehicles entering and exiting I-90
On March 5 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the right HOV lane for drivers heading to I-90 Westbound from East Mercer Way will be closed. The left lane will stay open.
Equipment will be staged in the right HOV lane while crews move an excavator into the work area near Frontage Road. Flaggers will direct traffic from East Mercer Way onto I-90 Westbound. Please use caution while driving through the work area and follow all directions from flaggers.
What to expect:
- Flaggers directing traffic through the work area.
- All work will be performed in the public right-of-way.
- Noise, dust, and vibrations typical of an active construction project.
- Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
