Crisis Care Center Finance Lead (Special Projects Manager I)

The Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) Finance Section is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, knowledgeable, and team player to serve as the Crisis Care Center (CCC) Finance Lead for the Behavioral Health and Recovery Division. (BHRD).


The Crisis Care Centers (CCC) Levy will create a countywide network of five crisis care centers, restore the number of residential treatment beds in the region, and invest in the recruitment and retention of the community behavioral health workforce. The proposal funds the plan through a nine-year property tax levy to treat immediate crisis and support long-term recovery and well-being. 

The CCC Levy proposes to invest in urgent care needs to transform an aging system and restore a path to recovery. The proposal responds to continued closures, reduced capacity, and significant gaps of behavioral health resources.  

The CCC Levy will be managed by the Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) and is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and effective finance professional to lead all financial activities associated with the implementation of the Levy. The CCC Finance Lead reports to the DCHS BHRD Finance Manager and works closely with the CCC Implementation Team and program staff in developing a robust budget and effectively managing its financial operations to ensure delivery of the CCC Levy.

Additional Job Information

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS: This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This position is not represented by a union.

 

MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS: This position has been designated Non-Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING INFORMATION: The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking and onsite work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
