This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with smart, talented, and committed team members to improve internal King County Parks service delivery.  The position’s home Performance & Data Analytics team is a fun, high-energy team working to leverage technologies to drive innovation across the division. In this role, you have the opportunity to work with and learn about the business of all Parks sections and have a unique role in structuring and building crucial communication, project, and record management systems that drive the work of the organization.  

About the Role:
  • Administer the King County Parks public records and records management programs and maintain and optimize the division’s SharePoint and MS Office 365 platforms.

  • Serve and collaborate with a diverse group of customers across the division to deliver projects that enhance the divisions' records and file management approach, optimize our MS SharePoint, Teams, and Office 365 infrastructure, and create business and workflow efficiencies that enable other Parks teams to thrive.

  • Be responsible for coordinating all division requests for public disclosure and will be the liaison to the Department of Natural Resources and Parks record management and public records programs.

About the Team:
The Performance, Data Analytics, and Process Improvement (PDAP) team sits in the Park’s Director’s Office. The team works with all Parks lines of business to increase the effectiveness, equity, and performance of our programs and services. We assist with data analytics, change management, business process improvement initiatives, IT systems lifecycle management, and records management.  Our team is committed to furthering King County Park’s mission of stewarding parks that inspire healthy communities and our work is critical to the County’s best-run government priority
