Human Resource Associate-Talent Acquisiton

Metro Transit Employee Services (Human Resources)  is looking for two organized, customer-focused Talent Associates (HR Associate) to join our Talent team. The Talent Associate is an integral member of the Talent Management team, and is responsible for administrative and outreach details in support of Metro Transit's recruitment efforts. Talent Associates organize, prioritize, coordinate and deploy key elements of high-volume selection processes that receive, screen, test, evaluate, and hire 1000 or more employees annually.

Metro Transit Employee Services Division supports the largest Department in King County in recruitment and selection, workforce planning and development, hiring authority and section manager advisement, HRIS data and analytics and electronic records management. We take immense pride in knowing that the work we do allows Metro Transit to continue to meet the mobility needs of the county's growing population.  

This recruitment will be used to fill two Detail/Special Duty assignments and are expected to last  six months with the possibility of extension to one year.  This recruitment may be used to establish an eligibility list to fill future special duty vacancies that may occur over the next twelve months.  

Who may apply:   This position is open to current career service King County Employees who have completed their initial probation as a special duty assignment. Placement into the special duty assignment will require prior approval by the employee's current supervisor.  This position is NOT open to the general public.
