We are seeking a Community Engagement Manager, Project/Program Manager II. This position serves in various community engagement capacities within the Adult Services Division. This position provides direct support to the Chief of Policy and Community Engagement focusing on the Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy.
Under the supervision of the Chief of Policy and Community Engagement, this position will work with partners, stakeholders and the community to build trust and provide access to help develop County policies and programs. The Community Engagement Manager will coordinate with Groups and departments to provide guidance and resources, leverage best practices, solicit and incorporate community input into programs and services, and use data to inform process improvement.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS: This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. This position meets the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible with supervisory pre-approval. This position is represented by PROTEC17.
MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS: This position has been designated Non-Mission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive, department director or agency head, all employees, regardless of designation, are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING INFORMATION: The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking and onsite work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
