The Mobile Poultry Processing Unit is a branch of Feral Woman Farm.Inside a renovated trailer is a full-service,state-licensedpoultry slaughter and processing facility, ready to process farm-raised poultry into safe and delicious products for retail sale at farmers markets, grocery stores and to restaurants.

“At Lifelong, food is medicine,” says Sage Fitzpatrick, Director of Engagement at Lifelong. “For those living with an illness, having the access to nutritious food can significantly help their health outcomes. We learned during the HIV crisis that getting calories into our clients was half the battle. We have evolved our services to reflect each client’s specific dietary needs based on their diagnosis.”

October 31st is the last day to apply for the USDA Organic Certification Cost Share Program (OCCSP). Producers and handlers are eligible to have up to 75% of organic certification costs covered. Learn more and apply here.
