With great sadness, we announce the loss of one of our beloved Board Member, Hameed Quraishi. We are grateful for our memories during this time of sorrow. Please join us at the November Board meeting where we will set aside time to remember Hameed.
October DDECSD Update
The next hybrid King County Board for Developmental Disabilities meeting is scheduled for November 1, 2023, from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the King County WorkSource office, Conference Room 130 located at 645 Andover Park W.
King County's Developmental Disabilities and Delays Legislative Forum is coming soon! Please save the date, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport - Southcenter located at 16500 Southcenter Parkway, Seattle. Registration details coming soon.
This is an opportunity for the Developmental Disabilities and Early Childhood Supports Division (DDECSD) to share our 2024 State legislative priorities with elected officials and the community. DDECSD has just concluded collecting input from community members and service providers who shared what they think legislators should focus on in the upcoming session. This input helps inform DDECSD’s legislative priorities.
