I am excited to announce that a major $2,500,000 Aquatic Facilities grant is being awarded to the City of Covington to help build a new aquatic center. As the current Covington Aquatic Center is near the end of its useful life, a new aquatic center will be a valuable recreational resource for over 150,000 individuals who live in the greater Covington, Maple Valley, and Black Diamond area. The City of Covington is currently evaluating two replacement facility options, which you can read about on their website.
