Housing Finance Capital Funding for Affordable Housing Projects
The King County Department of Community and Human Services’ Housing, Homelessness and Community Development Division’s Housing Finance Program is soliciting applications for Affordable Housing projects in need of capital financing that address the housing shortage in the region and work to address the racial disparities in access to housing. Affordable Housing projects funded through this RFP are expected to serve a variety of populations meeting particular criteria for income, disability, and/or homelessness status, with project models such as workforce housing, Permanent Supportive Housing, Affordable Housing with services, or homeownership, as well as equitable development projects with strong community involvement. Indigenous Survivors of Human Trafficking Wraparound Services RFP
This Request for Proposal seeks proposals from qualified Tribes, tribal organizations and nonprofit organizations with the capacity and expertise to provide person-centered, culturally informed and responsive support and assistance to Indigenous persons who are survivors of labor and/or sex trafficking as well as individuals at-risk. Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Manager III
The Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Manager III will champion the development and implementation of a systematic approach to Equity and Social Justice (ESJ) within the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). In addition to reporting to the KCSO Chief of Community Programs and Services, this role also reports to the King County Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer for strategic alignment. The position is characterized by division-wide planning and coordination within the KCSO of thoughtfully designed and sequenced critical actions to implement the King County ESJ Strategic Plan. Health Navigator
The Elizabeth Gregory Home Day Center is seeking applications for the position of Health Navigator. The Health Navigator will connect day center guests with a broad range of medical and behavioral health needs to the appropriate programs and services offered in the community, as well as develop and maintain a network of healthcare resources to provide warm referrals for guests. Community Liaison
Metro Transit's Community Engagement & Partnership group is hiring community liaisons who can be experts in navigating and communicating with historically underrepresented communities including low income, limited-English proficient, communities of color, people with disabilities and immigrants and refugees. Community Liaisons’ work in equitable outreach and engagement in King County will be conducted in a culturally specific manner providing the community with familiarity and trust while navigating Metro's processes. They will also play a role to help gather input from community members to inform agency planning and decisions related to transit services, programs, and capital programs.
