Earlier this week, King County Elections mailed out ballots to more than 1.4 million King County voters! Remember, you can mail your ballot at no cost (just make sure it’s postmarked by Election Day!) or use one of the 76 ballot drop boxes open across King County. Election Day is Tuesday, April 25. All ballot drop boxes across the county will be open and, as always, ballots must be in on Election Day by 8 p.m. sharp!
Finally, did you know that King County Elections now has an easy way to track your ballot from start to finish? The ballot alert program launched last fall allows voters to sign up through Elections’ online ballot tracker to get text or email notifications about when your ballot is mailed, when it’s received at Elections HQ, and when the signature has been verified and the ballot can be counted.

Register now: NAMI Eastside’s annual Youth Mental Health Conference
Registration is now open for NAMI Eastside's annual Youth Mental Health Conference, which will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Overlake Christian Church (9900 Willows Road Redmond, WA 98052).
This year’s theme is “Speak your Mind” and is built to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health for all age groups. Youth are leaders on being open and honest about mental health and knowledge will flow both ways at the conference, with students learning from adults and adults learning from students.
The conference is open to all ages and will include stories and research about student mental health and stress, the unique challenges facing LGBTQIA+ youth and BIPOC communities and finding treatment that works for you.
In February Executive Constantine submitted to the King County Council his proposal to renew the six-year Veterans, Seniors, and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) that builds on the investments made over the past 18 years and ensures a wide range of programming.
As the Levy renewal deliberations continue at Council, the Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) is hosting a series of in-person open houses across King County for community members to learn more about the VSHSL and VSHSL-funded services provided.
Mark your calendars for a District 6 VSHSL Open House on Wednesday, April 19 from 5:30-7:00pm at the North Bellevue Community Center (4063 148th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98007).
These VSHSL open houses will create a space for service providers to share about their organizations to community members and other local community organizations, offer networking opportunities, and provide an update on VSHSL renewal plans. These events are open to all King County residents. No registration is necessary to attend.
