The due date to file your taxes and make your tax payments is April 18, 2023. Do you need help filing?
Until April 20th, United Way of King County’s Free Tax Preparation Campaign is offering free tax preparation assistance. IRS-certified volunteers will be available virtually and in person at multiple locations across King County. An appointment is not necessary for in-person services.
If you can't make it to one of the below locations, you can also access free tax preparation assistance virtually at United Way's Get Your Refund website.

King County Council meetings are now happening at a new time! Starting next week, full Council meetings are moving a half hour later to 1:30 PM on the first, second, third, and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

Do you know of a non-profit organization that could use a donated van to support their mission? Please share this great opportunity!
Apply by this coming Tuesday, March, 21, 2023 to receive a donated 7-passenger minivan. Non-profit organizations or local governments that serve people with special transportation needs in King County are eligible to apply. The vans may only be used to transport customers with special needs—which include seniors, low-income, youth or people with disabilities—or to transport goods and supplies to those customers.

4 Culture Project Grants
4Culture Project grants can help you put your ideas in motion and share them with King County. They award Project grants in three disciplines: arts, heritage, and preservation.
Applications are due March 23, 2023. Visit the 4Culture website for more information.
King County Child Care Financial Assistance Program
King County has allocated $7 million of its federal ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funding to support King County families with the cost of their child care. Eligible families may receive financial assistance to pay for their child care at eligible providers.
