Councilmember Reagan Dunn standing with Harborview Medical Center Representatives: (left to right) Director of Outpatient and Behavioral Health Services Sunny Lovin, Chief of Psychiatry Dr. Mark Snowden, Assistant Administrator for Behavioral Health Stacy Devenney, Dr. Matt Iles-Shih, and Dr. Joe Mettill.
This week, I met with folks over at Harborview's Mental Health and Addiction Services to talk about their work around substance use disorders. We discussed new and emerging ways to address the fentanyl crisis and increase access to treatment as overdose-related deaths continue to rise in King County. It is my hope that through these conversations, we can work together to improve addiction treatment and provide more pathways to recovery.
