Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Over the weekend, the country was once again shaken by tragedy after the violence of the Monterey Park mass shooting. During one of the most celebrated and joyous holidays for the Asian American community, families are forced to endure immense grief and pain for the loss of their loved ones. Our hearts and spirits mourn for the victims and those who have been injured, the families of those who have been lost, and for the survivors and the Monterey Park community, who have experienced such violence and trauma.

Our communities must be kept safe from further actions of violence. As senseless acts of gun violence continue to plague our nation, we must continue to push for the implementation of meaningful and viable gun control.
