Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I wanted to wish you a happy holiday season and a most splendid time spent with family and loved ones. Although this time of year can be busy and at times stressful, I hope that you find small moments to observe restfulness and joyfulness as you continue to create memories.
Be sure to take measures to stay safe and warm as you're traveling over the next few days! King County Metro Transit is currently operating on snow routes, and please remember that when the Emergency Snow Network is activated, fare is free because of some legislation I introduced a few years ago. The latest advisories are available here. The King County Regional Homelessness Authority has also once again activated cold weather shelters to keep people warm and out of the weather, open now through December 24th.
