Foothills Trail Bridge over the White River

When completed, this bridge over the White River will create a link between the existing Foothills Trail in Enumclaw and the trail in the City of Buckley creating a 22-mile-long, paved, nonmotorized path all the way to Puyallup.

Foothills Trail visitors will then enjoy scenic water crossings over the White River and Boise Creek. The new bridge will connect the two sides of the trail for recreation and nonmotorized transportation to local schools, business centers, and civic centers. This project will link rural areas to urban centers.

The new segment – funded in part by the 2020-2025 King County Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Levy – will be completed in 2024 and create a continuous, non-motorized, multi-use paved pathway through an area that has been historically underserved by regional trails.

Join us and our trail partners as we break ground on this unique trail project and bridge.
