Transit Alert – Ride transit to Friday night’s Husky game; note lots of regular service plus some reroutes & service delays

On Friday night, November 4, Metro routes 31, 32, 44, 45, 65, 67, 73, 75, 255, 271 & 372, and Sound Transit Express Route 542 will be affected by pedestrian and vehicle traffic during the UW Husky football game, and significant service delays due to traffic and crowds are likely.

Routes 255 and ST 542 heading toward the University of Washington will be rerouted off a portion of northbound Montlake Blvd and will not serve the stop just south of NE Pacific Pl at Bay 4.

Metro will operate reduced park and ride shuttle service at Houghton Park-and-Ride only for this weekday evening game.  For additional transportation information, visit the UW Husky site.

Transit riders are encouraged to be aware of conditions in their area, watch media reports, sign up for Transit Alerts, visit Metro Online for information, and allow plenty of travel time.  Use the regularly published schedules for the routes you ride, then be prepared for possible significant delays and plan accordingly.

Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for information about revised bus service, routing and stops for planned construction or events.  When buses are rerouted, reroute start and end times may be subject to change.

Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information, including predicted times at stops.  We recommend riders to arrive at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Thank you for riding and for using Metro’s services.
