Wed Provider Call 11/2/22 Feedback on Covid Staffing Changes

 Good afternoon,

I am reaching out to you to give you an update on what is happening to the Covid Mobile Response this fall and what it means for you as service providers for the winter and next year. We recently found out that HCHN did not receive additional funding for the Covid Mobile Response for 2023 and we will need to streamline our response by 75%. What this means is that we will be looking at the services that we have been providing – MAT testing, HEART visits with EH support, and mobile vaccination, and look to reduce the 33 staff we currently have to 8.

We would very much like to hear from you and your program staff about what you think that these changes should include. What are the things that you most want to see continued/offered. What are the services that you feel are most important to ensure the health and safety of your clients and staff.

We will be talking about this at the next provider call on Wed Nov 2nd at 2 pm, but I am happy to set up meeting times for us to discuss more at length. Please feel free to reach out if you have comments, questions or concerns.

Thank you.
