Tuesday marked the start of one of the most critical functions of County government: the adoption of the $15.8 billion biennial budget for 2023 and 2024. The County’s budget process is our opportunity to make the investments for critical local and regional services that match our community’s values. Over the course of the next two months, the Council will consider, modify, and adopt the King County Executive’s proposed budget.
