The Eastrail will be closed in Bellevue on September 26-28 between 108th Ave NE and 120th Ave NE for work to design a new ramp which will connect the Eastrail to the 520 trail. The closed section is approximately between the South Kirkland Park and Ride and the Spring District in Bellevue.
The closure will allow crews to drill a series of soil test holes which are required for designing the new ramp. The ramp, which starts construction in 2023, will serve as a gateway into the City of Bellevue and its fast-growing Spring District neighborhood. The project is a partnership between Eastrail Partners, Meta, REI, and King County Parks.
Thank you for your patience and we apologize for the temporary inconvenience.
A transformative moment occurred in Totem Lake’s continuing re-development when Kirkland’s Totem Lake Connector contractor mounted two bridge spans over NE 124th Street early this month. Check out a timelapse of the installation! The bridge is expected to open in spring 2023.
