District 9 Spring 2022 Survey Results - Identifying Priorities
Thank you to the residents who took the time to participate in my latest District 9 survey. Your feedback helps me better understand issues that are most important to District 9 and advocate on your behalf.
Some trends that came through in these responses were public safety and crime, taxes, and homelessness. As your King County Councilmember, I will continue to advocate for a well-funded and well-staffed Sheriff’s department and push for solutions to address the homelessness crisis.
The survey also exposed a behavioral health crisis that is emerging from the pandemic. With substance use and mental health crisis, skyrocketing during the pandemic, it is no surprise we are seeing an impact in our communities. I will continue to work to give voice to those who are struggling with a substance use disorder or a mental health crisis, to help them find a path to recovery.
