The work schedule has changed to Aug. 25 - Sept. 2 for a section of the Cedar River Trail that will be fully closed while repairs are made to a damaged flood facility. The trail closure area is located approximately 0.2 miles south of Southeast Jones Road (see map).  

The trail will be fully closed at the project site during the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Aug. 25 - Sept. 2 for construction. No detour is available so please plan an alternate route. Signs will be posted, and flaggers will be onsite to support safety.  

This repair will help reduce flood risks to the Cedar River Trail, State Route 169, and utilities.
